Vehicle Technician

Salary: £16 per hour
Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: " Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine appropriate repairs.
" Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections." Repair and replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
" Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
" Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
" Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and costs.
" Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the workshop.
" Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications: " High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive repair is preferred.
" Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role." Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
" Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
" Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
" Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
" Valid driver's license and a clean driving recordPhysical Requirements: " Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy parts and equipment.
" Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, noise).
