HSQE CoordinatorLocation ScunthorpeSalary £ 30 000 - £ 35 000 per annumThe RoleA key supplier across the rail industry delivering innovative technology solutions and services to owners and operators of the UK rail network is looking to take on a HSQE coordinator to drive best practice across the workforce coordinating all HSEQ documentation ensuring the company remains compliant and highly organised You will gain exposure inside the Rail HS industry to become an invaluable member of the team and be trained and upskilled to become an expert in Health and Safety As HSQE Coordinator you will be responsible for- Supporting the QHSE Managers with developing and implementation of strategies and processes aligned with the company values
- Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance Controlling the flow of documents internally and externally
- Accident record co-ordination including the investigation and reporting of accidents and near misses
- Assist in the preparation of HSQE action plans
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HSQE team
- Maintain review and improve HSQE management systems
- Ensuring the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents
- Participates in incident investigations Ensuring root causes are identified
- A Strong administrative background document control background - Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working in the rail construction industries
- Experience of working in a Administrative function ideally within an HSQE environment
- Great communication skills able to assimilate and get stuck in
- A NEBOSH Certificate or working towards
- Desirable - Understanding of ISO accreditations IOSH
