Loughborough - Qualifications Development Officer (6 Month Fixed term Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Qualifications Development Officer to join our team on a full time basis for a fixed term period for up to 6 months to cover Maternity Leave.

The role is full time (35 hours per week) but we are open to flexible working hours to suit the successful candidate providing that they also meet business requirements. The role will be home based with a requirement to work from our Sport Park Office in Loughborough on a regular basis.

This is an exciting opportunity working within the Qualifications & Quality department as part of a busy Quality Assurance team responsible for leading the development of and ongoing review of existing industry leading aquatic Qualifications and CPD products.

As part of the role you will ensure that the solid research and evidence base of the product portfolio is maintained and regulatory requirements met.

Reporting to the Qualifications & Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading on product development and review projects in line with the product development process to support the regulatory requirements.

You will also be required to analyse and review the success of new and existing products, resources and interventions through demand and uptake figures, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action when required. You will create, manage and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their technical / industry expertise are considered.

About You

You don’t need to be able to swim to work with us, but a passion for the role that sport and physical activity can play in society would be advantageous!

In order to be shortlisted for the next stage in the process you must demonstrate within your application how you meet the following essential criteria:

Experience working in an educational environment.
Knowledge of the qualification development requirements of regulatory bodies, i.e. Ofqual and Qualification Wales.

Knowledge and experience of qualification development, assessment processes and procedures.

Previous experience / knowledge of developing industry specific CPDs as well as wider general knowledge of education and qualifications within the sport and leisure sector is desirable.
