Shift EIC Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Operations and Maintenance Team at the Leyland site as a ShiftEIC Technician.

Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for theLancashire Waste Contract.
Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual(black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradablecommunity waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.

Job Summary:
The Shift EIC Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the waste treatment facility assets and associatedinfrastructure, including operational monitoring of functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system.
Whilst training and development is provided and encouraged, please see below for the minimum requirements of the role:
- Basic knowledge of English and Maths
- Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) to ONC/HNC Level
- Evidence of continued development in relevant discipline and core competences
- Knowledge of the Waste processing industry
- Ability to effectively manage work schedules in a timely manner
- Provide evidence of working to deadlines and under pressure
- Evidence of working in an organised manner
- Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications
- Evidence of using effective problem-solving techniques
- Effective communicator at all levels both written and verbally.
- Detailed knowledge of waste processing plant, machinery and associated systems or FMCG Chemical and industrial industries.
- Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities.
