Test Engineer

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Test Engineer to work in their leading facility in Walsall.

For the successful Test Engineer our client is offering:

• Competitive hourly rate of up to £15 per hour - Depending on experience
• Days based role
• 7:45am-4:30pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays
• 38.25 hours per week
• Temporary ongoing position within a thriving Manufacturing business, could lead to a Permanent role
• Overtime opportunities - x1.33 in the week and x1.5 on Saturdays

The Role - Test Engineer:

• Conduct Electrical Testing of a range of Control Panels
• Documenting results and communicating this internally
• Ensuring Panels/Electrical Products are being manufactured to correct standards
• Identifying faults with Panels
• Completing paperwork
• Working from diagrams
• Resolving issues with products where possible

What our client is looking for in a Test Engineer:

• Have experience in testing Control Panels - ESSENTIAL
• Able to work from schematic diagrams
• Our client is looking for somebody who has a qualification within Testing / Electrical Low Voltage as you will be working around Live products - ESSENTIAL
• Strong Electrical based knowledge
