Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities- Carry out routine and emergency repairs to mechanical equipment
- Agree with supervisors the timing of scheduled maintenance work and use the scheduled maintenance control system
- Routine maintenance on plant service equipment - Vessels & cooling towers etc.
- Observe the workplace and report/repair faulty equipment
- Maintain stocks of engineering consumables
- Carry out and/or assist in routine testing and inspection of engineering equipment and systems
- Assist with management of Contractors as and when required
- Mechanical engineering qualifications or the ability to demonstrate experience and competence in this area
- Basic welding skills
- Some electrical engineering awareness
- Full UK driving licence
- Team player with good communications skills
- Physically fit due to the hands-on nature of the role
