My client is one of the most reputable consultancy firms working with district heating networks across the UK, turning over up to 10 million annually. Based in London Bridge in a state-of-the-art office, they are future focused and growing, with an extensive project pipeline within the future-proof industry of district heating networks and building services.
In this position - you will be taking an active role in working on retrofit projects to improve communal heating networks across varied infrastructure, working on renewable energy building transformation UK wide. You will be working on stages 2 - 4, covering design and project management responsibilities on heat loss calculations, system design, plant room schematics and more.
This is the ideal role for someone experienced in Building System design, including things like HVAC, heat networks or communal heating systems - who is looking for a progressive role into a senior position. You will be looking to train as a specialist within the renewable energy sector - and look for an opportunity to develop yourself through progression and guidance.
The Role:
- Working on Retrofit projects, from RIBA Stages 2 - 4.
- Leading design teams on retrofit projects - including but not limited to HVAC systems, renewable energy systems, communal heating, district heating and more.
- Project Management.
- Building Services calculations - heat loss, efficiencies etc.
- Site surveys.
The Candidate:
- Degree Educated - Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
- Experience in Building Services Engineering - including any form of internal heat network systems (Hot water systems, communal heating, new build, plant rooms etc).
- Experienced and proficient in CAD Design.
- Does not need to be experienced in a senior level as this can be a step up.
- Working towards chartership.
