Location: London (hybrid working arrangements) with travel expected to Sizewell C, Suffolk.
Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.

Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full

  • time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part
  • time approach where possible.Salary: c.£75,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

About the Role:
As the Internal Audit Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the delivery of assurance and advisory engagements, ensuring that our project meets its goals while maintaining the highest standards of governance, risk management, and internal controls.

Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, you’ll plan, perform, and report on internal audits, providing critical insights to SZC’s Executive Team and Audit & Risk Committee.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape the internal audit function, adopting cutting-edge audit methodologies and industry best practices.
Collaborate across multiple teams and functions, ensuring the project’s success in a highly complex and ambitious setting.
What We’re Looking For:
Extensive experience in internal auditing within large, complex organisations or from a Big 4 professional services firm.
A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of risk and control frameworks, capable of providing foresight and insight to senior management.
Excellent communication and project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver high-impact audits that drive meaningful change.
Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIA) and a solid track record of success in the audit, assurance, or risk space.
