The Role:
We're seeking a Tech Lead to drive our technical evolution from early-stage products to regulated medical devices. You'll be the technical cornerstone of our mission to help millions of people access better mental health support.

Technical Challenges You'll Solve:
- Scale our current Flutter-based application while maintaining medical-device grade reliability
- Design and implement secure systems handling sensitive mental health data
- Architect AI integration systems that meet both clinical and technical requirements
- Build infrastructure compliant with ISO 27001, ISO13485, DCB0129 and other medical device regulations
- Create robust testing & evaluation frameworks for AI-assisted mental health applications

- Current: Flutter, GCP, Firebase, OpenAI, Anthropic (Note: While our current stack includes Flutter, we value architectural thinking and relevant experience over specific framework knowledge. We're looking for someone who can help us build the right systems for our users' needs.)

Location Requirements:
This is a hybrid role based 2 days pw in Bristol. We believe in close collaboration between our teams to build the best possible mental health solutions.

We're a bootstrapped company with 2 yrs runway, some paying users and a clear path to growth. We're building something meaningful and need someone who can help us do it right.
Requirements
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong background in mobile application architecture & any mobile framework
- Startup and compliance experience
- Engineering or computer science degree
