We are working with a wonderful primary school looking to hire a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to work 1:1 with students or assist with general classroom tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for students who need additional help with their learning.
  • Assist in general classroom activities and help to maintain an engaging and focused environment.
  • Support children with special educational needs (SEN) on a case-by-case basis.
  • Help the class teacher with lesson preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting their emotional and social development.
  • Assist with classroom management and ensure that children are following instructions and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant or similar role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, can-do approach to supporting students and teachers alike.
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset, with the ability to adjust your working schedule as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
