Tasks
As Account Executive you are presenting our solution to customers, supporting them and their technical roles in the sales process and successfully close deals.
You contribute your expertise - both technologically and with your vision - through the following points:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK data center market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights.
Requirements
You bring initial experience in B2B sales or account management - ideally in the SaaS and technology environment - and enjoy inspiring new customers. Your background is technical, ideally as industrial or business engineer. You also have:
- Closing orientation: You have a strong closing ability and can conduct negotiations confidently.
- Customer orientation: You are characterised by your intuition for customer needs and your ability to translate these into suitable solutions.
- Strong communication skills: You are an excellent communicator
- both verbally and in writing
- and can present complex solutions simply and convincingly.
- Results-orientation: You work in a goal-oriented manner and can successfully achieve or exceed both your individual and team goals.
- Technical affinity: You have an interest in technological solutions, how electrical components work and can quickly familiarise yourself with new tools and software products.
- Self-organisation: You are self-reliant and can maintain an overview even when there are many parallel tasks.
- Experience with CRM systems: Knowledge of working with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot or similar systems) is an advantage.
- Language skills: Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus.
