Location: Mildenhall, SuffolkHours: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm
Salary: £16.00 per hour – rising to £16.50 after completion of probation
Duration: Permanent
Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Production bonus, Regular social events, forklift license provided (after temp term)
Seeking a quality overseer: Ensure our concrete products are as solid as our commitment to quality. We are looking for a quality control officer to join our production team in Mildenhall. In this role you will be overseeing the quality checks of concrete and steel products pre and post production.Apply now to keep our reputation rock-solid!
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment with concrete and steel.
- Experience in quality control.
- Experience reading, analysing, and interpreting drawings, specifications, international standards, and production schedules.
- Experience with quality audits.
- Good planning, problem solving and decision making.
- Ability to build relationships, credibility, and trust.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure that all products achieve the quality standards required.
- Communicating quality issues, product damage and processes to ensure production runs efficiently and advise any production delays that occur.
- Identify quality issues pre and postproduction and rectify issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure raw materials meet standards prior to being used.
- Support production team leader with training.
- Undertaking cube and slump testing as well as other random quality control checks.
- Document and reporting of product quality whilst keeping accurate records.
- Supporting with internal and external audits.
