Behavioural Management Tutor - Warrington
A highly reputable and expanding Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioural Management Tutor to join the team at one of their thriving secondary schools in Ellesmere Port. This is a flexible role, offering a minimum of three days per week, with working hours from 08:30 am to 15:30 pm.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the ongoing success of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored support and interventions to students to help manage and improve their behavior.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective behavioural strategies.
- Build positive relationships with students, acting as a mentor and role model.
- Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring timely interventions where needed.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience working with young people in a behavioral support or educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing challenging behavior.
- Relevant qualifications or training in behavioral management, education, or a related field (preferred).
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a school environment.
