Legal Receptionist
On behalf of our client located in Cardiff, we are seeking a dedicated and professional full-time Legal Receptionist to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic office environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional administrative and client-focused support.
As a Legal Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. Your responsibilities will include managing front-of-house duties, handling inquiries, and providing reliable assistance to ensure the team functions effectively.This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established legal firm while enhancing your skills in a fast-paced and professional setting.
Main responsibilities:- Provide support to paralegals, the office manager, and other staff, for the smooth operation of the office.
- Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch.
- Distribute mail deliveries daily
- Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive
- Answer, Screen and forward incoming calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required
- Preparing correspondence using our case management system
- Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
- Have excellent experience in reception duties
- Experience in working within a legal environment
- Ideally have some administration experience within residential conveyancing but not essential
- Demonstrate initiative
- Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
- Be highly organised, methodical and presentable
