Job Description
  • -perform administrative duties as required.
  • - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • - Generate and issue VAT invoices.
  • - Generate payroll, including pension calculations and submissions.
  • - Reconcile multiple bank accounts, including factoring accounts.
  • - Perform credit control.
  • - Assist in the preparation of yearly accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
  • - Generate financial reports and assist with financial analysis as needed using Sage and Excel.
  • - Resolve customer financial queries promptly, liaising with our sales team.
  • - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • - Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • - AAT Level 2 qualification as a minimum
  • - Must have strong experience with Sage 50 and Excel; familiarity with Insphire is a plus.
  • - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
  • - Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • - High attention to detail and accuracy
  • - Must be proactive and engaged.
