We are looking for a Qualified Science Teacher for our Secondary School on Durham (DH1).

Role Details:
- Position: Science Teacher for KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable not essential)
- Location: DH1
- Pay: MPS/UPS (paid to scale based on experience)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term with the potential for a permanent role

Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Science curriculum
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Science or a related subject
- Experience teaching Science across KS3 and a specialism of Biology, Chemistry or Physics to KS4 (KS5 desirable not essential)
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young minds
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
