Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, handling safeguarding concerns effectively.
- Provide high-quality care tailored to the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of the children.
- Comply with Children's Acts, Children's Homes Regulations, and relevant legislation.
- Lead and support a dedicated staff team, offering supervision and training.
- Regularly update children's care plans to reflect their evolving needs.
- Participate in meetings and reviews as required.
- Support children in achieving their goals and full potential.
- Empower children to be active participants in decisions about their lives.
- Progression to RI after registration

- Competitive salary of £60,000
- Bonus structure available
- Minimum 2 years in residential child care, including 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months.
- Familiarity with childcare legislation, The Quality Standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, planning, and budget management skills.
- Confident in written and verbal communication.
- Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
- Full UK driving license required.
