Teaching Assistant Level 2
The governors of St. Michael’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to work as part of our Reception class team. You will join a dedicated staff team in our culturally diverse school.
Working hours: 30 hours per week. 8.45-3.45pm with a one hour lunch break. Term time only.Grade: D salary £16198 per annum
Start date: ASAP
Recent experience of working with EYFS children is essential.
You will- Be passionate about working with young children
- Have experience of working in an EYFS environment
- Have secure knowledge of how young children learn best.
- Have excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Be creative and able to inspire learning opportunities for pupils in a stimulating learning environment
- Be a dedicated team player, demonstrating flexibility, co-operation and a willingness to take an active role in school life both inside and outside of the classroom
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be committed to working in close partnership with parents, the governing body and the wider community.
- Be inclusive and have experience of working with children who have English as an additional language and also children with a range of special educational needs
- Be committed to the development of the Christian ethos whilst respecting and valuing our multi-faith school context.
