Senior Composite Technician
Your expertise will also contribute to training new starters and supporting the development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Hands-on laminating and resin infusion of production components.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the composite team to meet production deadlines.
- Lead and mentor laminators and trimmers, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
- Train and guide new team members to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Support the Head of Operations and Head of Development in optimising manufacturing processes and equipment usage.
- Adapt to customer and business needs during peak periods, maintaining flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
- 5–7 years of experience as a composite technician in motorsport, automotive, or aerospace industries.
- Strong expertise in infusion techniques.
- Proven ability to work with technical drawings, layup books, and be flexible customer requirements.
- Experience with various materials and composite manufacturing processes, including:
- Hand lay-up
- Trimming
- Bonding and assembly
- Demonstrated team leadership skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
