Quality Improvement Project Officer

JOB SUMMARY The Trust has embraced Quality Improvement (QI) as the overarching principle for the organisation and set its longer-term vision to provide the highest quality, best value healthcare for patients. The primary purpose of the QI Programme is to oversee the transformation of the culture of the Trust to one of continuous improvement.
This will be delivered through participation of staff in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a large number of small and large-scale projects via a multi-year organisation-wide programme. The programme is a unique one for the organisation in terms of breadth, depth and timescale.
The QI Project Officer will: Provide high quality administrative and project management support to the Quality Improvement Team to ensure smooth day to day delivery of key programmes of work Manage documentation and organisational knowledge systems on behalf of the Quality Improvement Team and where appropriate Lead on the organisation of delivery of specific projects with support from Improvement Advisors and the Head of QI Improve internal operational efficiency In addition, the post holder will occasionally be called upon to fulfil a range of other tasks to support the overall objectives of Quality Improvement within the Trust.
