Job Duties:
- Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
- Deliver group interventions to children with additional needs
- Provide 1:1 support for children with SEN, ensuring they recieve an inclusive education
- Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for children
- Help create a positive learning environment for all children
- Support children with personal care and medical needs, if required
- Collaborate with other staff members and professionals to ensure children's needs are met
- Monitor and track children progress and report back to teachers and parents
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Experience:
Prior experience working with children with SEN is required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN support strategies
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Good organisational skills
- Empathy and patience
