Group Accountant
Robert Half are recruiting for a Financial Services business to recruit a Group Accountant. Based in London with hybrid working model (3 days in office, 2 from home).
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Group Accountant to join their Group Reporting team, focused on supporting the reporting and broader group finance activities. This is a pivotal role contributing to financial consolidation, month-end close processes, and stakeholder management within a dynamic and growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities- Preparation and consolidation of financial statements, including balance sheets and accruals
- Perform month-end close activities and ensure timely reporting
- Manage financial reporting for the particular entity with exposure to multiple currencies, converting into GBP and uploading into Group Accounting software
- Support wider group finance operations such as bank reconciliations and handling smaller entities
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across different teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Handle unstructured financial data from third-party sources, utilizing advanced Excel skills
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, particularly relating IFRS 15 and 19
- Contribute to the team's cultural fit by demonstrating strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills
- Must be qualified (ACA/ ACCA) and trained in practice.
- Minimum of 6 months- 1 year Post-Qualified Experience in industry.
- Experience with financial consolidations and multi-currency environments
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and work collaboratively within a team
