Community Development Worker
Part time (22.2 or 29.6 hours per week) flexible hoursSalary: £24,327 pro rata
Permanent subject to funding
KEY TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- 22.2 hours (3 days) or 29.6 hours (4 days) per week, 25 days holiday pro rata, 1-day birthday leave, 8% non-contributory pension.

Your efforts will contribute to building a stronger sense of community and empowering individuals to take an active role in shaping their neighbourhoods.
Working with individuals, families, community groups and organisations to empower them to;- Identify assets, needs, opportunities, and gaps in service provision
- Support volunteers with the transition of a foodbank into a social supermarket
- Alongside partners, plan what needs to be achieved and support appropriate action.
- With partners, develop activities and services
- Contribute to the development of a recognised and valued voice for communities
- An Enhanced DBS is required for this role
