What you'll do

As a Strategic Finance Manager, you’ll be supporting a new and exciting business within the bank. You’ll provide insights and market knowledge to assist the leadership team to make key product and cost decisions in conjunction with the franchise.

You’ll also be:

• Combining data and analytical thinking to solve strategic problems using the latest tools and techniques
• Design and implement finance data flows, reporting and insight
• Understanding and challenging financial performance, providing relevant and meaningful insight to the business including internal and external MI such as competitor analysis
• Collaborating with other Finance teams to provide specific financial plans, forecasts, stress testing and customer, market or segment analysis
• Creating outputs to support the business executive and legal entity directors to make effective decisions

To succeed in this role, you’ll need good stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate and influence. Along with planning and organisation capabilities, you’ll need the ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk and work in a flexible environment.
