1:1 Teaching Assistant | Derby, Ilkeston, DE7 | £95 - £110 Per Day | October 2024 | Long-Term Contract
We are currently supporting a highly regarded secondary school in the Derbyshire, Ilkeston area to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for the new academic year, starting October 2024.
This position is initially offered as a long-term contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:- Under the guidance of the Inclusion & Behaviour Manager, provide 1:1 support to an identified student across the curriculum.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan, prepare, and deliver tailored support, focusing on strategies to achieve positive behavioural outcomes.
- Assist teaching staff in managing and implementing effective strategies for addressing challenging behaviour.
- Provide regular, constructive feedback to the student regarding their progress, ensuring a clear understanding of their development.
You will be expected to support your designated student throughout the school day in line with their Individual Education Plan (IEP), under the guidance of the Inclusion & Behaviour Manager.
