Candidates must demonstrate compassion, with an interest in women’s health and a drive to provide dignified and sensitive care to people during their time of need.

We are an 18-bedded ward, based at the Princess Anne Hospital, specialised in caring for a wide range of gynaecology patients. This includes gynae-oncology, urogynae, early pregnancy and more. We operate a 24-hour service, taking emergency admissions out-of-hours from our emergency department and other routes of admission, most commonly for gynaecology emergencies and pregnancy related problems up to 20 weeks gestation.

The successful candidate can expect a smooth transition – with an individualised supernumerary period (including time spent in our neighbouring departments), supportive ward team and an education team who are committed to team development.
