To help develop the nursing services offered by practice. To provide clinical leadership within the nursing team To ensure that the highest standards of care are provided for patients. To manage and develop a clinical acute and chronic case load, dealing with presenting patients needs in a primary care setting.
Review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to patients needs and in accordance with evidence based practice and national and practice protocols Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
