We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate large format print and finishing operative to join our finishing team in Cramlington to finish printed material ready for dispatch.
Duties include the following, yet others may be assigned to the needs of the business:
- Managing job submission to print press
- Ensuring print is of the highest quality
- Ensure machines are correctly prepared, maintained and clean at all times
- To finish and check print material are to a high standard
- Pack and dispatch print products to a high standard
- Work on computers to complete tasks
- Help to organize, prioritize work to meet varied deadlines
- Help maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness and organization around the workplace
- Comply with all companies HSE Health and Safety rules
- To abide by and support the company’s ISO 9001 QMS
Working rotational shifts every 2 weeks: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
Requirements- Experience in Large format print and finishing preferred but not essential
- Ability to use a multitude of large format print and print finishing equipment
- Be computer literate
- Ability to communicate effectively across all parts and levels of the business
- Able to demonstrate initiative and ability to prioritise
- Able to effectively multi-task
- Able to work shifts
- Able to lift up to 25kg
