Applicants must have a Level 2 - BTEC Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support Staff or equivalent pharmacy qualification.

Main duties of the job
Working under appropriate supervision you will participate in the provision of a comprehensive pharmaceutical service within the Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
You will provide accurately dispensed medicines for inpatients, outpatients and discharge prescriptions from the main dispensary and satellite dispensaries at ward level.

Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
Essential criteria- Maths/English GCSE or equivalent
- NVQ 2 (Pharmaceutical Services)
- Proven work/study record for at least one year in the last 3 years
- Working in a pharmacy, healthcare environment reception or in a role where accurate stock control is paramount
- Dispensing Experience
- Working with pharmaceuticals/medical terminology
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria- Excellent written communication skills
