The Department
The Global People Team comprises HR Business Partners, along with specialists in the areas of Learning & Development, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), Early Careers and HR Systems. The Diversity and Inclusion team is led by the Senior D&I Manager with support from a team of two based in London and Singapore.
Key Responsibilities- Design, manage and implement the firm's global Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy.
- Define commercial D&I objectives and appropriate measures to assess the firm's performance against specific D&I targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, partner champions, and Business Service Heads to manage key global D&I projects, such as D&I action plans and wellbeing programmes,
- Oversee the activities and deliverables of each of the firm's six D&I networks, namely: gender, LGBTQ+, race and ethnicity, disability/neurodiversity, social mobility and healthy minds.
- Manage global D&I campaigns, including Mental Health Awareness Week, World Mental Health Day, International Women's Day, and International Men's Day.
- Oversee an internal network of D&I champions (including partner champions) to implement key elements of the global D&I strategy across HFW's global network.
- Work with partners and other D&I champions in their roles as chair/co-chairs of internal committees and networks, such as the Diversity & Inclusion Chair, Gender Equality Networks co-chairs, and Ethnicity network chair.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to promote D&I initiatives and engage with new clients and suppliers.
- Serve as the main contact for external D&I partners, such as the Mindful Business Charter for mental health projects and the Brokerage CityLink for social mobility.
- Handle external and internal communications for the firm on D&I, with support from the Communications team.
- Respond to external requests for information and submissions, such as client requests and the Social Mobility Employer Index submission.
- Prepare reports on the firm's D&I strategy, objectives and performance as required.
- Attend relevant external events and activities.
- Attend Board meetings.
- Manage the D&I budget.
- Maintain D&I content for the website, intranet, firm brochures, etc.
- Act as an ambassador for the firm
- Through effective use of an external network and research, suggest new innovative D&I initiatives to further the firm's efforts.
- Joint line management of the Corporate Responsibility Manager in the Singapore office, and Corporate Responsibility Executive in the London office.
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be required.
- At least five years' previous D&I experience in an international professional services firm.
- A track record for delivery of impactful D&I initiatives.
- Commercial outlook.

- Ability to manage internal and external relationships.
- Ability to manage remote team members.

- Flexible with regard to working hours (normal working hours are seven working hours between 9.30am and 5.30pm, but the role will require work outside those hours for events and other initiatives).
