Design & Technology Teacher
A mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to inspire students and make a lasting impact in the field of Design and Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Design and Technology.
- Develop students' understanding of design principles, practical skills, and technological innovation.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and curriculum delivery.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Has experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Design and Technology and a commitment to fostering students' skills.
- Is able to engage students of varying abilities and create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
