As a Home Care Assistant / Carer / Care Worker in Huntingdon, you will provide person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain or regain their health, well-being, and independence.

Areas covered: Huntingdon, Perry, St Ives, Alconbury, and surrounding areas.

Shifts or hours available:

7am to 2pm
4am to 10pm

Other shift patterns/non regular bank work may be available – contact us to discuss

Whether you have previous experience as a paid carer or caring for a loved one, maybe worked in retail or hospitality or other client facing role, or are simply looking to start a new career, we can provide you with comprehensive training to develop your skills and become a confident Hales Care Assistant.

The Care Assistant Role

Supporting individuals with their personal care routines including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needs
Ensuring service users have adequate grocery supplies
Assisting individuals in taking their medication
Preparing warm and nourishing meals
Helping with light domestic tasks and other care needs

Providing a valuable companionship lifeline to individuals

A team player with good communication skills.
Honest and committed to delivery high quality care and support
Good communication skills – verbal and written to complete accurate records
Previous experience in care, retail, hospitality or other service industry is welcome but not essential.

Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle required.
