Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced maintenance technician to join our well established property maintenance company based just off Junction 31 of the M1.

The ideal candidate will have a multi-skilled approach to all aspects of property maintenance as the role varies day to day.

You will travel throughout South Yorkshire predominantly, and also further afield as and when required, you will have use of a company vehicle together with all materials required to carry out the role effectively. We do ask that the successful applicant have their own basic hand tools, all other tools/equipment will be provided, as will full uniform.

A hands on approach and own initiative is a must together with great customer service as you will be the face of LPS when attending properties.

Outline of Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, must have basic knowledge/experience of plumbing and electrics
A multi-skilled approach to all works - the role is extremely varied
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner both planned and reactive
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, via tablet diary
Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or repairs
Complete works to a high standard

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area

Skills:

The ideal applicant must be a contentious, hardworking and ambitious individual with good time keeping and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents or tenants
Solid understanding of basic property repairs

Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities
