Are you a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We’re working with a fantastic primary school in Ealing who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team full-time from May.
About the role:
- Working closely with pupils in KS1 who require additional support
- Providing 1:1 or small group support, both inside and outside the classroom
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning strategies
- Helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
- Monitoring progress and feeding back to the SENCo and teaching staff
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting
- Be confident working in KS1
- Have a calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Be adaptable and able to respond to the individual needs of pupils
- Be a strong communicator and team player
- Dedicated consultants providing ongoing support
