Orchard Home Care Services is a family run business that was founded in 1993. We are one of Durham County Council's preferred providers and provide domiciliary home care support to vulnerable adults and children across the county. We work in partnership with Skills for Care and Durham County Council's Care Academy to develop and improve the skill set of our staff, ensuring that we can continue to meet the needs of our service users.
Assist in the support of personal care tasks; bathing, continence care, pad changes.
Maintain a safe, enjoyable home environment for the service users by assisting with basic domestic tasks.
Preparing meals, snacks and drinks to help sustain the service users nutrition and hydration needs.
Communicate effectively with service user, next of kins and other medical professionals to ensure a high quality service to all.
Identify and report any concerns in relation to a service users safety, wellbeing and welfare.

Work available in the following villages within: Sacriston, Pity Me, Newton Hall and surrounding villages
Responsibilities for the role required are:
