- Ensuring surgeries are prepared appropriately for the days patients in accordance with current regulations.
- user checks of dental equipment reporting defects in accordance with current equipment care policies, completing daily forms for all equipment.
Maintaining the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation for which they are responsible, reporting any deficiencies in accordance with local protocols.
Preparing, mixing and handling dental materials in accordance with manufacturers instructions; adhering to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations and Safety Datasheets.Recording accurate dental charting for each patient as required by the dentist.
These charts may be required as ante-mortem records by the Defence Primary Healthcare Forensic Odontology teams called upon to carry out post-mortem identification.
