Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at HMP Leeds, a category B mens prison located in Gloucester Terrace, Armley, Leeds, West Yorkshire.Join an integrated, friendly team that values a strong culture and shared PPG values.
There are ample opportunities to develop into a specialist role within Health in Justice and primary care nursing. Hours and Salary 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible mix of day and night shifts (7am-8.30pm for days, 8pm-7.30am for nights). Weekends are one or two per month. The salary is up to £48,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Qualifications and Experience Registered nurse with current NMC registrationEvidence of CPDRCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertakeLeadership experienceExperience with opiate-dependent patients and dependenciesSound clinical knowledge of substance misuseExperience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
