In-house Conveyancer
About Our Client
Established in 1998, the organisation support individuals with learning disabilities and autism with housing throughout the North West. Each year they house over 250 people and continually find innovative ways to provide suitable and much needed housing solutions.
They are a fast growing organisation and are looking to take on more long term, commercial leases, so they are looking for a legal expert to come in as in-house conveyancer to shape the team and support on all legal property matters.
Job Description
As in-house conveyancer, you can expect to deal with:
- conveyancing and landlord and tenant property matters:
- property sales and acquisitions
- granting and renewal of standard leases
- licences to occupy
- licence to carry out alterations
- deeds of variations
- rent review memoranda
- title checks
- reports on title
- submissions of SDLT returns
- registration of title at Land Registry
- dealing with conveyancing in connection with new developments of housing, i.e. NHS and Local Authorities
- working with external legal firms
- line managing staff
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for qualified solicitors, licenced conveyancers or legal executives with around 3+ years experience. Having experience from a Property and Housing business or Local Authority would be good.
What's on Offer
Successful in-house conveyancer package:
Salary DOE circa £48k plus car allowance, 27 days AL + bank holidays (increasing with service and option to buy more), 5% pension, paid voluntary days, enhanced maternity and parental pay.
Agile working also available.
