We are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to work in one of our Year 1 classrooms 5 mornings a week, 8.30am to 12.00 noon plus an additional 5 hours per week in the afternoons. These 5 hours are split as follows: Tuesday 1-2pm, Thursday 1-3pm and Friday 1-3pm.
We would also like someone to undertake LSA hours working 4.5 hours on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, 1-3.15pm. We are ideally looking for someone with whole class cover experience to take on PPA cover, starting September 2025. We would consider candidates who do not have experience of class cover but would be willing to be trained and take on the additional hours in September, if deemed suitable.

The TA role will be on Surrey Grade S3, £23,576 FTE. (Pro-rata actual salary for the morning hours cited above dependent on experience).Hours are worked during term-time only; salary is paid over 52 weeks to ensure consistent monthly wages.
