The Lead Analyst will work collaboratively with colleagues across theorganisation to ensure they are provided with the right information, at the right time, in the right format. This includes: developing the information
infrastructure to support high quality information analysis; improving
mechanisms for measuring, understanding and improving the quality of data held in the data warehouse; contributing to the development of information services; effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders; and providing support to others to develop their knowledge and skills.The post holder will understand how critical good management information can be in the NHS, and will be responsible for ensuring that reports are developed in response to the needs of the business.
- To lead and provide support to operational and corporate team to
actual performance and the ability to deliver operational plans using
statistical analysis where appropriate
- To provide detailed analysis in order to model demand, resources and
variances between supply and demand to facilitate discussions of
service change, provision or development.
- To lead the analytical work within services to assess capacity and
appraisals.
- To work alongside the other corporate functions including HR, Finance
internal and external sources in relation to operational and strategic
reporting at all levels of the organisation.
- To lead on the implementation of the data quality framework and
supporting tools into their area of the business, ensuring that the right
staff have access to the right tool in order to monitor and comply withdata quality standards.
