Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
- Support the procurement process, including tender preparation, supplier negotiations, and subcontractor engagement.
- Assist in the measurement and valuation of works for interim and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and identify potential areas for cost savings.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial and contractual control throughout project life cycles.
- Support in the preparation and submission of variations and claims.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally they are looking for someone who:
- Has a degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or working towards one/work experience already).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the role.
