Bank Dental Nurse, Barrow Emergency Dental Service
An opportunity has arisen to expand the emergency dental service team. We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated, qualified GDC registered Dental Nurses to work within our busy Emergency Dental Service at our Barrow clinic.
Sessions are held weekday evenings Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 17:30 until 21:30
Saturday ,Sundays and Bank Holidays 08:30 until 12:30
This is a bank position and sessions will be offered as and when cover is needed.

Person specification
Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential criteria- National Certificate NEBDN or equivalent education e.g. NVQ level III Oral Healthcare
- Current GDC Registration held or currently enrolled on a training course
- Science based subject at GCSE level
- ECDL
- First aid/Basic life support training
- Knowledge of the Special Care Dental Service Pathway and criteria
- Knowledge of Local protocol for accessing Emergency Care via Dental Direct and Triage System
- Applied IM& T.
