The Trust is seeking a consultant psychiatrist to join Knowsley Resource and Recovery Centre.

The Recovery team is a multi-disciplinary team which provides evidence based, timely, safe, readily accessible, specialist, comprehensive assessments and specialist psychosocial and pharmacological interventions for service users in Knowsley over the age of 18 years who experience significant and enduring mental health difficulties, who require ongoing support, care and treatment.

The team has moved away from traditional models of working where clinics are booked for the consultant weeks in advance and there is a distinction between Non-CPA and CPA patients. The team concentrates on Clinical pathway working where needs are identified in MDT meetings to decide which pathway will be best suited for the patient and which team member is most suitable to give the intervention.

The Team facilitates the process of assessment and intervention following Care Clustering – facilitating a needs-led care framework.

There is no inpatient commitment. The team provides a service to clients from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
