My market leading St. Helens based client are the UK’s largest independent manufacturer within their field, they are experiencing year on year growth, making now a very exciting time to join this hugely successful business.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service / Sales Order Processor to start as soon as possible. You will be required to work from 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) and the annual salary will be £26,000.

The Customer Service Advisor / Sales Order Processor is a vital role in the business, you will be the first point of contact for all customers with regard to placing orders, order progress, delivery times and order queries. Attention to detail and data accuracy is very important as my client provides a first-class customer experience and are a fast-moving business.

Job Description
  • Dealing with a large volume of inbound customer service-related calls regarding, placing orders, order progress, delivery times and order queries.
  • Entering sales orders accurately and promptly onto the in-house system.
  • Up selling and cross selling to customers when taking orders
  • Liaise daily with the manufacturing and shipping teams.
  • Occasional outbound calls to existing customers making them aware of special offers
  • Managing outbound delivery date for customer orders
  • Updating delivery note detail accurately
  • Updating spreadsheets containing customer and order details
Person Specification
  • Excellent telephone manner and experience of dealing with a high volume of inbound calls
  • Strong administration skills
  • Customer focused
  • Good IT skills - MS Excel/Word
  • Attention to detail
