Industrial Site Cleaner (Manufacturing Plant/ Equipment)

On behalf of our Client, we are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Site Cleaner to join their Inverness operations on a staff basis.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful post holder will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness of the site along with: Wet Electrostatic Precipitators (WESPs) - Pre-moist cleaning
Press Cleaning – all aspects of press cleaning including the use of hoovers, air lances etc.Blender - forming and finishing end cleaning
Cleaning of the Drains/Sumps
Assisting with the planned maintenance of the plant as required
Relief operating (assuming relevant skills and training)
Waste Management
Assisting in other areas when required
Basic care as required
Proactively participate in improving site housekeeping
Carrying out additional tasks as necessary following all safety criteria
The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience within a continuous operating environment is not essential however would be beneficial
Forklift certificate or previous forklift operating experience (preferable)MEWP Operator certificate (preferable)
Health and safety awareness and excellent safety record
Good written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent attendance record
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
