Fixed Term, SEN Learning Support Assistant
North Town Primary School (part of the Richard Huish Trust) are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable SEN Learning Support Assistant and Lunch Time Supervisor.
Hours: 30 hours and 50 minutes per week – Term Time Only (39 Weeks)Grade / Salary: Grade 15, scale point 3 currently £24,027 FTE (actual on 30.85 hours £17,154 per annum).
Location: North Town Primary School & Nursery, Taunton.
Contract type: Fixed Term until initially 23rd July 2025.

The successful candidates will support the class teacher by:
- Delivering learning support to pupils through a range of approaches.
- Supporting a pupil / pupils at lunchtimes in a range of ways.

The successful candidates will:
- Have recent and relevant Leaner Support (Teaching Assistant) experience in at least one primary school or specialist provision school.
- Have the knowledge and understanding to work with children with special educational needs.
- Be able to relate effectively with learners and adults.
- Be able to follow individual and small group learning plans systematically.
