Senior Power BI Developer - Remote working up to £55K

We are currently supporting our internationally recognised private sector client in their search for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative team that values innovation and continuous improvement.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will be the team expert on all things related to Power BI, Fabric, SSRS, SSIS, and ETL Pipelines. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's data strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Power BI solutions, including end-to-end configuration.
  • Manage and optimise ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
  • Oversee large data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS packages to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the BI landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer or similar role.
  • Extensive experience with Power BI, including end-to-end configuration and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools, particularly SSIS.
  • Proficiency in SSRS and experience in developing complex reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large data migration projects.
  • Background in professional services is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
