A leading Banking Client is seeking to recruit a Payments Technical Analyst on an initial 12 month contract via umbrella, 3x days per week onsite.
The role is to be responsible for all technology aspects regarding non-production environments with respect to payments applications, chiefly the banks central payments services hub and instant payments applications on non-production platforms.These applications interface with many business platforms for internal back office, customer facing applications (internal and external) and the SWIFT network. For each of the core technologies there are specialist teams but is necessary to co-ordinate change from the perspective of the payment application delivery e.g. the payment services hub.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- General understanding of payments (SWIFT, TARGET, SEPA) and/or compliance business areas.
- Specific experience of SWIFT ISO20022 message formats
- Experience in working with a complex matrix of business SMEs & IT teams.
- Ability to analyse and describe a 'problem' simply and clearly.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Well organised and structured in work output.
