Software Tester (Azure DevOps)

Rate - £450 (A Day)

Duration - 6 Months (Initially)

Location - London (Hybrid)

Ir35 - Inside (Must use an umbrella)

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of quality code and test deliverables by both yourself and the wider sprint and business test teams, while maintaining hands-on testing across a range of applications.
• Protect production environments from any new issues caused by a release.
• Provide technical insight to sprint, business, and release planning teams, working closely with vendors, product owners, and delivery managers to ensure robust plans are in place.
• Collaborate with business analysts, software designers, developers, and testers to set up test estimations, frameworks, and testing capabilities.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO or VSTS) to manage source code and cover the applications' test lifecycle.
• Work with the wider IT team, business, and suppliers to triage and address any release defects or issues.
• Ensure test deliveries are completed in adherence to SDLC and test processes.

You'll have to meet the following minimum criteria:

• Previous experience working as a software test lead in a fast-paced environment, ideally testing across a range of technologies.
• Extensive testing experience incorporating system, user interface, acceptance, and integration testing.
• Knowledge of digitalization processes, Workday/Billing systems, Dynamics CRM, and Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint or similar applications.
• Proficiency in automation and performance testing, with substantial experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks and test harnesses.
• Strong knowledge of database testing and advanced understanding of SQL queries.
• Experience with test management tools, preferably Microsoft VSTS/Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication skills with significant experience in vendor and stakeholder management.
