Project Engineer - Plant
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager. The Project Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing equipment, services, buildings, and grounds are maintained and improved to meet the future demands of the business.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating project plans to support machinery rearrangement and positioning, project planning for equipment installation and improvement, working on cost reduction projects, identifying sourcing and buying of machines and equipment, providing technical expertise to improve equipment availability and asset use for the site, and assisting in maintenance fault finding across the plant and on equipment.
This role requires a continuous improvement focus, driving and implementing reliability excellence to critical equipment.
Responsibilities for Project Engineer- Plant- Create project plans to support machinery rearrangement and positioning
- Plan projects for equipment installation and improvement
- Work on cost reduction projects and identify sourcing and buying of machines and equipment
- Provide technical expertise to improve equipment availability and asset use for the site
- Assist in maintenance fault finding across the plant and on equipment
- Drive and implement reliability excellence to critical equipment
- HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Controls or Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to solve root cause and repetitive reliability issues
- Experience in writing maintenance procedures
- £35,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE
- Day Shift 8am - 4pm
- 37.5 Hours a week
